US, Los Angeles: Covina Car Fire Blocks Traffic on 10 Freeway.

Los Angeles, United States - July 14, 2026 07/14/2026 03:15 am GMT-0700 COVINA, Calif. – The California Highway Patrol and Los Angeles County Fire Department, along with the West Covina Fire Department, responded to multiple 911 calls reporting a car fire on the eastbound Interstate 10 Freeway just east of Holt Boulevard in Covina. Upon their arrival, emergency personnel located a vehicle on the right shoulder that was fully engulfed in flames. The driver managed to exit the vehicle safely. All lanes were stopped by the California Highway Patrol as they worked to clear the scene and open some lanes for traffic.
