US, Los Angeles: Piru Grande Fire Burns Near Los Angeles-Ventura County Border Part 2.

Los Angeles, United States - July 09, 2026 07/09/2026 12:34 PM GMT-0700 PIRU, Calif. – Firefighters are battling a brush fire burning near Santa Clarita along the Los Angeles-Ventura County line. The Grande Fire was first reported at 12:34 p.m. south of Highway 126, west of San Martinez Grande Canyon Road. The fire had grown to an estimated 50 acres by 2 p.m., burning in light-to-medium brush along a ridgeline. Ground crews and aircraft are working to stop its spread. The fire remains active, and the cause is under investigation.
