US, Los Angeles: Pomona Fire Breaks Out at Abandoned Gas Station.

Los Angeles, United States - May 21, 2026 05/21/2026 01:46 am GMT-0700 POMONA, Calif. – Los Angeles County Fire Department and Pomona Police Department responded to a commercial fire at an abandoned gas station on 2295 North Garey Avenue. Upon arrival, firefighters found heavy smoke and flames coming from the rear of the building, which had spread into the structure. Firefighters extinguished the fire within 30 to 45 minutes of their arrival. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation. Pomona Police have closed some streets in the vicinity due to the incident.
