The incident occurred at Sierra Highway and Lancaster Boulevard when deputies responded to a report of a man brandishing two knives in the area. During the incident, a deputy was stabbed, and the suspect was shot by deputies. Both the suspect and deputy were rushed to the hospital. The suspect was pronounced deceased at the hospital.
