US, Los Angeles: Chino Hills 2nd Alarm Brush Fire Burns 29 Acres.

Los Angeles, United States - May 14, 2026 05/13/2026 06:59 pm GMT-0700 Chino Hills – Chino Valley Fire Department responded to a traffic collision fire that spread to a hillside at Grand Avenue and Longview Drive in Chino Hills. Upon arrival, firefighters upgraded the response to a full brush fire alarm as the fire rapidly spread to 29 acres. The Chino Valley Fire Department requested assistance from the Los Angeles County Fire Department and other agencies, initiating a second alarm for the brush fire. As a precaution, some homeowners on Valley View Lane and Mill Stream Drive evacuated with their children. Los Angeles County Fire Department aircraft conducted multiple water drops along the hillside to protect the homes along Valley View Lane.
