BUILDING OF NASSER HOSPITAL KHAN YOUNIS, GAZA STRIP, PALESTINE - MAY 6: Several Palestinians wounded by Israeli fire east of Gaza City were transferred to Nasser Hospital in the southern city of Khan Younis for treatment on Wednesday, May 6. The injured were admitted to the hospital following reports of Israeli fire targeting eastern areas of Gaza City. Medical staff treated the wounded Palestinians at the hospital. Earlier in the day, Gaza’s Health Ministry said three Palestinians were killed in Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip over the previous 24 hours, bringing the total death toll since October 2023 to 72,615. Israeli attacks have killed 834 people and injured 2,365 others since the ceasefire, according to ministry. The Israeli genocidal war on Gaza also caused massive destruction affecting 90% of civilian infrastructure, with reconstruction costs estimated by the UN at around $70 billion.
