VARIOUS OF PALESTINIANS CARRYING SHROUDED BODIES TO AMBULANCE FOR BURIALGAZA STRIP, PALESTINE - JUL. 21: An entire Palestinian family of six was killed at dawn on Tuesday after Israeli forces bombed a house in Gaza City despite an ongoing ceasefire, WAFA news agency reported. They were killed in a bombing on their house in central Gaza, amid continued violations of the ceasefire in place since Oct. 10, 2025. The Palestinian Red Crescent said its teams initially recovered the bodies of five Palestinians, a mother and her four children, after an Israeli strike targeted an apartment in the Al-Samer area. A medical source at Al-Shifa Hospital told Anadolu that the victims were Salsabil Mohammed al-Masri, 34, and her children: Naim Firas al-Masri, 13, and his sisters Feryal, 11, Salma, 9, and Amira, 6. The source said the bodies arrived at the hospital burned. Later, the death toll rose to six after the father, Firas Ahmed al-Masri, was also confirmed killed, the source added. Gaza’s Civil Defense Directorate said its teams extinguished a large fire at the Al-Masri family home after the Israeli strike. Israeli artillery also shelled areas southeast of the Zeitoun neighborhood in Gaza City, while military vehicles stationed nearby opened heavy fire. In central Gaza, Israeli vehicles pushed around 100 meters into the Abu Ghraba area east of Deir al-Balah, accompanied by a military bulldozer, opening heavy fire and razing land before withdrawing several hours later., according to local sources and eyewitnesses. The military now controls more than 70% of the enclave, up from 53% under the October 2025 ceasefire agreement, Israeli officials said. At least 1,158 Palestinians have been killed and 3,756 others injured in near-daily Israeli attacks in violation of the ceasefire, according to Gaza’s Health Ministry. Since Israel's genocide began on Oct. 8, 2023, at least 73,250 Palestinians have been killed and 173,751 injured, according to the ministry. It added that about 90% of Gaza's civilian infrastructure has been damaged or destroyed.
