PARAMEDIC CLEANING AMBULANCE STRETCHER OUTSIDE HOSPITALGAZA STRIP, PALESTINE : JULY 8: An Israeli military strike killed four Palestinians and wounded ten others in the southern Gaza Strip on Wednesday, July 8. The attack directly targeted a tent sheltering displaced families in the Al-Mawasi region, situated just west of Khan Younis. Following the bombardment, emergency response teams quickly transported all the casualties and the deceased to the nearby Nasser Hospital. Medical staff and doctors inside the facility immediately mobilized to provide urgent, life-saving interventions to the injured victims. On-site eyewitnesses reported extensive damage to the temporary encampment, which currently houses thousands of fleeing civilians. Since the ceasefire took effect on Oct. 10, 2023, Israeli attacks have killed at least 1,084 Palestinians and injured 3,491 others, according to Gaza’s Health Ministry. The Israeli army has killed more than 73,000 Palestinians and injured over 173,000 others since October 2023 in a deadly offensive that has also caused widespread destruction affecting about 90% of civilian infrastructure.
