Palestinians killed, wounded after Israeli strike hits tent camp in southern Gaza.

VARIOUS OF PALESTINIANS CRYING BESIDE BODY LYING ON GROUNDKHAN YOUNIS, GAZA STRIP, PALESTINE - MAY 25: Several Palestinians were killed and wounded after an Israeli strike targeted a tent camp sheltering displaced people in the Al-Mawasi area west of Khan Younis in southern Gaza on Monday, May 25, despite an ongoing ceasefire in the enclave. The strike hit the densely populated Ghayes Camp in Al-Mawasi, where large numbers of displaced Palestinians have been staying. Wounded Palestinians, including children, were brought to Nasser Hospital for treatment following the attack. Medical teams were also seen treating an injured baby, while the bodies of Palestinians killed in the strike, including a child, were transferred from the hospital. According to Gaza’s Health Ministry, at least 883 people have been killed and 2,648 others injured in Israeli attacks since the ceasefire was announced. The agreement was meant to halt Israel’s two-year war that killed more than 72,000 people, most of them women and children, injured over 172,000 since October 2023, and caused massive destruction affecting 90% of civilian infrastructure.
