The event celebrated the rich heritage of the Vespa, a lightweight motorcycle originally designed in 1946 following World War II. Created as an affordable, practical means of transport for a rebuilding nation, it has since transformed into one of Italy’s most globally recognized design icons. Riders from different parts of the world traveled to join the parade, navigating their classic and modern scooters past some of Rome’s most iconic landmarks, including the Colosseum, Via dei Fori Imperiali and the Circus Maximus. A diverse array of Vespas in different colors, vintages and customized designs drew crowds of spectators along the route, with residents and tourists lining the streets to watch and photograph the rolling display.
