Sean 'Diddy' Combs' Has Jail-Time Reduced Again
Jun 17, 2026
Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is expected to spend even less time behind bars after receiving another reduction to his projected sentence.
According to the Federal Bureau of Prisons website, Combs is now scheduled for release on February 23, 2028.
The latest update continues a pattern of earlier projected release dates, which had previously been listed as April 15, April 25 and June 4, 2028.
The Bureau of Prisons has not publicly explained the latest adjustment to Combs' release date, but he has been participating in a drug-abuse rehabilitation program at FCI Fort Dix.
The rapper is serving a 50-month sentence after being convicted on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. He was acquitted of sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy charges.
Diddy's attorneys formally appealed the conviction and sentence last December, arguing that the sexual encounters at the center of the case were consensual and his punishment was excessive.
His appeal remains pending before the Second Circuit Court of Appeals.
