Feb 19, 2025
welcome back to our study of the book of Hebrews, today we'll be looking at Hebrews 8: 8-16, the disciplining of waiting. Once again, we need to recall the background to this letter. It is within this context that we must look at the passage. The writer is addressing believers of Jewish background under persecution. They were weary and were probably asking themselves when God would rescue them. So the following section is mainly going to talk about the discipline of waiting patiently on the Lord even when it seems as if He has forgotten. To illustrate his point, the writer is going to mention Abraham and two other patriarchs ( Isaac and Jacob) as well as Sarah.

hello good morning and uh welcome back to our study of the book of our hebrews uh we started chapter 11 about two weeks
0:07
ago and uh this chapter is a very uh deep one there's a lot of information in it
0:14
and uh we need to recall the background to this letter before we even get into understanding what we have been taught
0:21
in this chapter again uh if you recall the writer was primarily addressing uh
0:27
believers of jewish background and a lot of them were being persecuted and they
0:32
the tendency was they wanted to go back to judaism to avoid the persecution so since the beginning of this chapter he
0:39
has been proven by using the old testament scriptures that jesus is the guarantor of a new covenant and that he
0:46
has proven every single step of the way that jesus has established a new covenant so
0:51
therefore the old rituals and practices are done with their obsolete so he's
0:58
been proven that and then he told his readers in chapter 10 towards the end that the only way they're going to be
1:04
able to to resist the temptation to go back to the old rituals and stuff like
1:09
that it was through faith and then he defines what faith is in the first three
1:15
verses of chapter 11 we talked about the fact that faith is being short of what we hope for and assured of what we are
1:22
convictions so is the assurance of things so far and the conviction of things that sin and we talked about the
1:28
fact that faith is not wishful thinking is not something that we can manipulate
1:33
it's not something that we can kind of muster up in our own strength but faith comes from god
1:39
it is god who works in us both to wield and act according to his purpose so faith is an act of god through which he
1:47
enables us to believe in him so faith again we saw in romans 1 verse 17 comes
1:52
by hearing and hearing by the word of god and then last week we talked about the faith in action we talked about noah
2:00
we talked about abel we talked about um noah abel and we mentioned uh enoch now
2:07
as far as like abel is concerned we learn from it that just because you have faith in god doesn't mean that you are
2:13
not going to suffer you may even be killed for your faith and abel was killed but he still speak through his
2:21
faith we talked about it that and and the reason why the writer mentions abel is because he want to tell
2:26
him listen just because you believe in god that does not prevent you from suffering going through suffering and
2:32
then we see in enoch's life enoch doesn't die but he is translated into heaven because the scripture says that
2:39
he was pleasing to god and then the discipline noah's in noah's time we saw
2:44
that noah was a preacher of righteousness because through his faith and through building the ark he condemned
2:50
uh the world that he was living in his contemporaries because they didn't believe that god was going to bring um
2:57
on the flood so we learned three things from there now through faith you you can suffer you're going to suffer just
3:03
because you have faith doesn't mean you're not going to suffer and then god reveals reserves the right to
3:08
[Music] treat his people the way he want for some we might die for our faith for some
3:14
we might not suffer for our faith but we are going to go through some type of tribulations and through noah we learned
3:19
that believing may cause us to to be persecuted and
3:25
noah was ridiculed they laughed at him but at the end god's word came to fruition so the long suffering okay and
3:31
now we're going to continue in the same concept and today we're going to talk about this the discipline of waiting
3:37
waiting is something that we don't like in our world today again nobody likes to wait i don't like waiting because we
3:44
want things done this way okay we talked about microwave speed and and stuff like that so that's
3:49
that's the kind of world that we live in so again as we recall the background to this letter uh we need to to to to
3:56
understand that the people that the writer was addressing again these were people that were wearing they were probably asking themselves
4:02
if was was god going to ever rescue them okay so the following section is mainly
4:08
going to talk about the discipline of waiting patiently on the lord even when he seems as if he has forgotten okay and
4:15
we all have uh this thought sometime in our mind we think maybe god forgot
4:21
but he hasn't forgotten because he's arizona point in time he he brings about his plan okay so to to illustrate to
4:28
illustrate this point the writer is going to mention abraham and two other patriarchs isaac and jacob
4:35
and he's also gonna insert him uh sarah okay so we also need to remember that faith
4:41
comes by hearing and hearing by the word of god so we talked about
4:46
that in the previous um presentation it is god who produces faith in his saint through his word and as he promised in
4:53
isaiah 55 verses 10 to 11 he says his word will not return to one void but he
4:59
will accomplish the purpose for which he sent it okay so now we're going to look at the entire chapter and we're going to
5:05
try to break this down so i'm going to read verses 8 to 16 and then we are going to
5:10
look at it more thoroughly so hebrews chapter 11 verses 8 through 16.
5:16
scripture says by faith abraham obeyed when he was called to go
5:22
out to a place that he was to receive as an inheritance and he went out not knowing where he was
5:28
going by faith he went to live in the land of promise as in a foreign land living in
5:34
tents with isaac and jacob heirs with him of the same promise for he was looking forward to the city
5:41
that has foundations whose designer and builder is god by faith sarah herself received power to
5:49
conceive even when she was past the age since she considered him faithful will had
5:55
promised therefore from one man and him as good as dead were born descendants as
6:02
many as the stars and of heaven and as many as the innumerable grains of sand
6:07
by the seashore these all died in faith not having received the things promised but having
6:14
seen them and greeted them from afar and haven't acknowledged that they were strangers and exiles on the earth
6:22
for people who speak thus make it clear that they are seeking homeland if they had been thinking of that land from
6:29
which they had gone out they would have had opportunity to return but as it is they desire a better country that is a
6:36
heavenly one therefore god is not ashamed to be called their
6:41
god for he has prepared for them a city all right this is the word of god
6:48
and now let's understand what the writer is trying to teach us through these words okay
6:54
so the call of abraham we're going to begin with abraham it begins in genesis 12
7:01
verse 1 to 3 and i want us to read that real quick so
7:06
in genesis 12 god says to abraham now the lord said to abram go from your country and your
7:13
kindred and your father's house to the land that i will show you and i will make of you a great nation and i will
7:20
bless you and make your name great so that you'll be a blessing and i'll bless those who bless you and him who
7:27
dishonest you our curse and in you all the families of the earth shall be
7:33
blessed now we already know because now we live in 2022 that all these promises to
7:38
abraham came to pass everything that god promised came to pass so we just we can take reassurance
7:44
into that okay we can be assured that when god spoke those words god fulfilled
7:49
his promise to abraham today the whole world has been blessed those that
7:54
believe have been blessed because of abraham faith okay this is just a point that i wanted to make in the passing but
8:00
uh let's go and understand what the writer is trying to say here so when god spoke to abraham
8:05
excuse me you obeyed by faith for the word of god
8:10
worked in abraham to accomplish the purpose for which god sent it okay so
8:16
abraham did not know where he was going but he packed up his belongings in his entire household with his nephew lot
8:23
included and then he left in the same way god has promised that jesus would return one day
8:30
and he would take us from home to him so jesus is gonna come back one day and he's gonna take us back to him to
8:37
himself so as believers we look forward to his return and we wait patiently so
8:43
the writer is going to elaborate more on this point in verses to come he's only setting the stage for some exaltation so
8:50
by faith we learned abraham obeyed when he was called to go out so abraham obeyed by faith we need to understand
8:57
again that faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of
9:02
god god spoke the word to abraham and he accomplished the purpose for which god
9:07
sent it abraham got up and obeyed the word because the the word was intended for him and the word came
9:14
from god this is why it's important for us to understand the definition of faith if we don't understand that then the
9:21
tendencies to think abraham was the one behind the faith now abraham obeyed the word of god because
9:27
god himself was working in abraham to achieve that purpose the word came from god to abraham and
9:35
the word accomplished the purpose now abraham was a recipient of the benefit but it is god we
9:41
initiated it we need to understand that he has to be clear now in verses 9 to 10 we read
9:48
by faith he went to leave in the land of promise as in a foreign land living in tents with isaac and jacob heirs with
9:56
him of the same promise for he was looking forward to the city daha's foundation whose desire and build his
10:03
god now canon was the land of promise yet when abraham and his entire household
10:09
migrated from iran to canaan the land had not yet been given to abraham as god had declared so abraham
10:17
lived in canon as in a foreign land even though it was the land of promise so and
10:22
his immediate descendants isaac and jacob his grandson were the recipient of the
10:27
same promise also lived in the same land in tents so we need to understand the point that
10:34
the right is trying to make here see living in tents is an indicator of a nomadic lifestyle
10:41
not being settled okay so when you live in a tent that means you are not settled you are not settled you are still trying
10:47
to find a place to settle down okay so abraham and his immediate descendants
10:52
that is isaac and jacob were given the promise of inherit inheriting the land of canon yet they
10:59
lived a nomadic life style meaning the promise had not yet been fulfilled
11:06
yet they they did they accepted it they didn't settle they weren't settled
11:13
they kept moving from place to place so the scripture tells us why they lived that way we need to understand that the
11:20
scripture says that they were looking forward to the city that has foundations whose designer
11:25
and builder is god see they could have complained to god yet because of what they were looking forward to
11:32
scripture tells us that they gladly embraced the nomadic lifestyle so abraham isaac
11:39
and jacob were looking forward to the heavenly city of god they were looking forward to being home in heaven with god
11:45
himself see so as a result they were not bothered uh with the prospect of um
11:51
settling down so like they they went up like they were not so much
11:56
consumed with being settled down they didn't care no i didn't care i don't want to say they didn't care because
12:02
everybody wants to have some kind of comfort and all that but that wasn't the reason why they lived
12:07
their lives they were looking forward to the city of god so what the writer is trying to convey to his readers and us ultimately is that
12:14
we must emulate abraham isaac and jacob's faith so for us today it's easy to seek comfort
12:22
and ease and settling in our earthly life but as believers our true home is
12:27
an eternal one right he's built by god himself so the antidote to seeking comfort and on earth
12:34
he's keeping our eyes on the heavenly city of god because if we don't do that we're going to be miserable
12:41
and that's the point the writer is trying to make to his congregation he says see abraham
12:48
isaac and jacob they didn't settle down they were looking forward to the city of
12:53
god so therefore as they lived as nomads god made them a promise he told them to
12:58
your descendant then you and your descendant i will give this land so abraham isaac and jacob they didn't
13:03
receive the land per se but they knew again when god gives a promise jewish
13:10
people believe in solidarity okay so the promise of abraham was eventually going to be given to his descendant we're
13:15
going to find that out in genesis where after 400 years the people are in the exodus they go to canon and they
13:21
eventually capture the city and and the promise comes to pass and god even made that promise to abraham in genesis 15
13:28
which we'll see soon but what i want to say is this abraham received the promise isaac
13:33
received the promise jacob received the promise but they didn't allow that to direct the way they lived their lives
13:39
they were looking forward to the better city they were looking forward to the city of god so for us today and for the
13:44
writer for the writers readers they were being persecuted see they wanted to settle down they were
13:51
living in a place where they probably had their families and stuff like that but they were being persecuted so they
13:57
were looking for comfort they would say we want to be rescued from this this is too much there's nothing wrong with
14:02
saying i want to i want to settle down but what he was trying to teach them is this yes i understand that you guys
14:09
are going through this i understand that you are suffering and the scripture tells us in second thessalonians that we
14:14
have been we have been appointed for suffering but he didn't want them to settle down he didn't want them to fix their eyes on the immediate he wanted
14:21
them to fix their eyes on what is to come and that's the cure and the antidote against uh
14:28
settling down and seeking for comfort because if we don't do that we're going to be miserable and that
14:33
again is only possible by faith so he's giving them words of encouragement words of exaltation and is the spirit of god
14:40
that takes those words and make them personal to them and to us today
14:45
so we learn from this okay these are examples that have been given to us so that we can lean on god in times
14:52
of um trials and stuff like that okay now let's go to verse
14:58
11 and 12. by faith sarah herself received power to conceive
15:03
even when she was past the age since she considered him faithful who had promised therefore from one man and
15:11
him as good as dead were born descendants as many as the stars of the heaven and as many as the innumerable
15:17
grains of sand by the seashore see the writer abruptly like shifts his
15:23
focus from the patriarchs to sarah and it seems as if there is no connection between his earlier remarks
15:30
and sarah but there is see we need to remember that that his main point in this section is what
15:36
waiting patiently see abraham was told that he was going to have a son
15:42
so him and sarah had to wait 25 years for the fulfillment of that
15:47
promise see i want you to just pause for a second and just think about waiting 25 years after being given
15:55
a promise to receive something see we live in the age of
16:00
microwave high speed internet high speed this we want things to get done this way
16:07
i know a commercial that says i want my money and i want it now right so we want
16:12
right now we want things to be done right now so abraham was given a promise and sarah was given a promise they had
16:18
to wait 25 years for the fulfillment of that promise
16:23
okay so in god's economy he seldom works
16:28
like a high-speed internet now god can do whatever he wants because he deserves the right to do whatever he wants
16:35
because he is god we are not so scripture tells us that sarah was past the age of child bearing yet by
16:42
faith she received power to conceive see we are also told that she considered god
16:47
faithful who had made a promise why is this verse so important see the child of promise isaac
16:54
was born because of what because of the word of god it had absolutely
16:59
nothing to do with sarah because she was past the age of giving birth naturally
17:05
her womb was what was done according to the laws of nature she was past the age of child bearing
17:12
but this was to show the power of god and his word so by faith scripture tells
17:18
us that sarah considered him faithful what promised she believed god for the
17:23
word of god worked in her to that end again she believed god because the word
17:29
of god worked in her to that end now i want to make something clear
17:35
while sarah believed she had her times of failure okay at times she was impatient because she
17:42
led abraham into sin by giving her servant hagar so she could have a child by their union
17:48
she probably misinterpreted the word of god she thought maybe that's what god meant when he met when he said
17:54
i'm going to bring a child to you and he's going to i'm going to bring you so probably she probably has her times of
18:01
misinterpretation because they were probably waiting and waiting and she thought what is this going to happen
18:07
i'm past the age of childbearing am i going to have a child so why am i mentioning this here
18:13
see this is not to encourage us to sin well it's a reminder that even when we fail god is able to restore
18:20
us the same way he restored sarah okay sarah had a time where the scripture
18:26
tells us that she believed god she considered him faithful who had promised
18:32
but there were times where she doubted there were times when she tried to do her own thing there were times where
18:37
abraham and her thought they could pretty much force the hand of god
18:44
and then ishmael was born as a result and trouble came into the family but even
18:50
then they still remain faithful because the word of god achieved the purpose for which he was sent so abraham and sarah
18:57
still believed god even though they had their times of failure so again when the
19:02
writer is giving his words to his people he's trying to tell him yes i'm sure some of you are feeling as if
19:09
you've failed god you've done things that god is not going to restore you but i'm giving you the the story of
19:15
abraham and sarah here to give you an example that even when you fail it's never too late to still go back to
19:21
the lord and say i have sinned against you lord forgive and the scripture tells us in first john that if you confess our
19:27
sins is faithful and just to forgive us and to cleanse us of all righteousness so they had their times of failure but
19:34
yes they still waited 25 years for the for their fulfillment of the purposes of god and
19:40
abraham himself see abraham himself almost led sarah into sin because when he went to egypt he
19:46
almost interfered with god's plan a year before isaac was born he lied again about sarah being his sister in egypt
19:53
and pharaoh almost committed adultery with her see that would have caused a lot of
19:59
questions because if pharaoh had had intimacy with sarah
20:04
people would have questioned the legitimacy of isaac's uh um father they would have probably said
20:11
well since pharaoh slept with sarah therefore how can abraham be his father
20:18
see that would have jeopardized god's plan but god intervened again and he
20:24
came in in the middle of the night through a dream and warned pharaoh told him you are dead man if you touch that woman
20:31
see waiting isn't without trouble but god strengthens his saint in the process
20:37
see verse 12 tells us that as a result of abraham and sarah's faithfulness faithfulness in waiting
20:43
were born descendants as many as the stars of heaven and as many as the innumerable grain of saint by the
20:49
seashore see god eventually fulfilled his promise to both abraham and sarah in his own appointed time and
20:56
the same goes for the readers the writer was addressing and us today
21:02
it's not going to be easy times of waiting are hard but in the process god is doing what he's building our
21:07
character his scripture tells us that he wants us to conform us to what to the image of
21:12
his son he wants to change us so waiting is never wasted it's not
21:17
wasted time people think well i'm just gonna sit there and just wait wait wait now that's not how it works in the meantime
21:23
god is building your character the same way he built sarah and abraham's character they had flaws they needed to
21:30
change abraham needed to change twice he had lied about celebrating his
21:36
sister and even at the old age he still was struggling with that so god was working
21:41
in him and god was also working etc and while the people were going through their persecution god was building their
21:48
character he was trying to build their character so waiting doesn't necessarily mean that god is trying to stretch us so
21:54
that he can see if we are made of like if you're a strong man he's trying to
22:00
build us up because god himself is the one who gives us strength
22:05
so in the process of waiting it's not a waste of time it's times where god is building our character so take comfort
22:12
in those words okay and the next thing is verses 13 to 16.
22:18
listen to what the scripture says these all died in faith not having received the things promised
22:25
but having seen them and greeted them from afar and having acknowledged that they were strangers and exiles on the
22:32
earth for people who speak thus make it clear that they are seeking a homeland
22:38
if they have been thinking of that land from which they had gone out they would have had opportunity to return
22:44
but as it is they desire a better country that is a heavenly one therefore
22:50
god is not ashamed to be called their god for he has prepared for them a city
22:56
again abraham isaac and jacob they never really inherited the promised land
23:02
themselves but scripture tells us that they were they received the promises from afar so
23:08
let me pause for a second and and let's think about this let's go to like genesis 15
23:13
verse 7 to 20. we're going to read that passage because it gives us some understanding so genesis 15 verse 7
23:20
to 20. listen and he said to him i am the lord who brought you out from earth
23:26
of the chaldeans to give you this land to possess but he said o lord god
23:31
how am i to know that i shall possess it again this is abraham talking with god and god says to him bring me a heifer
23:38
three years old a female goat three years old iran three years old a turtle dove and a young pigeon
23:46
and he brought him all these cut them in half and laid each half over against the other but he did not cut the birds in
23:52
half and when birds of prey came down on the carcasses abraham drove them away
23:58
as the sun was going down a deep sleep fell on abram and and behold dreadful
24:04
and great darkness fell upon him then the lord said to abraham
24:09
know for certain that your offspring will be sojourners in a land that is not
24:15
theirs and will be servants there and they will be afflicted for 400 years
24:21
but i will bring judgment on that nation that they serve and afterward they shall
24:27
come out with great possessions as for you you shall go to your fathers
24:32
in peace you shall be buried in a good old age and they shall come back here in the fourth generation for the iniquity
24:39
of the amorite is not yet complete when the sun had gone down and it was dark behold smoking firepot and a flaming
24:47
torch passed between these pieces on that day the lord made a covenant with abram saying to your offspring i gave
24:55
this land from the river of egypt to the great river the river euphrates the land
25:01
of the canight the kennesaid the carmelite the hittite the parasite the refrain the amorite the canaanite the
25:09
gargashite and the jebusite so you can kind of see that the promise abraham knew that he
25:16
himself was not was not going to be the immediate recipient for the promise it was going to be given to his people
25:24
in 400 years so he's received the promise from afar he saw it from before he received it see on that day the
25:31
scripture says the lord made a covenant of abraham saying to your offspring i give this land so god declared to
25:38
abraham after making a covenant with him that to his offspring he gave the
25:44
promised land of canon abraham in in that way along with isaac and jacob they
25:50
greeted the promises from afar but more importantly as scripture tells us as much as they received the earthly
25:56
promises from afar they were looking what forward to the city of god in heaven so their
26:03
nomadic lifestyle as we saw in the previous slide didn't bother them because they knew they were what exiles
26:09
on earth seeking their true place of rest okay they were seeking their true place of rest the city of god
26:16
so life on earth was just what was just a temporary passage to their true destination because they were what they
26:24
were looking forward not backward they didn't look back to the things that they were missing they were looking forward
26:30
and we can take some examples from these people see they desired a better country
26:35
scripture tells us a heavenly one where god himself dwells and god has built and as a result god is
26:43
pleased to be called their god because what these saints were after was the
26:48
city that he had prepared for them see they were looking forward to the city of
26:54
god say this is what we want god yes we know about these earthly promises but we really want you we want you we want you
27:01
so they were living for heaven they were living for the city of god their gaze was upon that
27:09
okay so they weren't hung up on it earthly temporary benefit but their minds were focused on the city of god i
27:15
want to go to colossians 3 verse 1 to 4 and also matthew 19 matthew 6 verse 19
27:21
to 21. let's leave see what colossians 3 tells us because the idea is there
27:27
colossians 3 verse 1 through 4. listen the scriptures say if then you have been
27:34
raised with christ seek the things that are above where christ is
27:41
seated at the right hand of god set your mind on the things that are above not only
27:46
things that are on earth for you have died and your real life is hidden with christ in god when christ with your life
27:53
appears then you also will appear with him in glory see this the scripture is telling
27:59
us paul is saying set your minds on things that are above that's what abraham isaac and jacob did
28:05
yes they still lived on earth they still had all their earthly problems but their gaze was on heaven they were looking
28:12
forward to the city of god where their real life the life that we like
28:17
john piper said something that really marked me one day was like wow he said right now the life that we live
28:24
it's like this is nothing compared to the actual life that god has prepared for us it is hidden in christ and someday we
28:31
will look back and go why did we waste so much time on these frivolous things on earth
28:38
so our gaze must be on heaven our gaze must be to god
28:44
in matthew 6 19-21 we read the following let's go to matthew 6.
28:52
matthew 6 19-21 listen to the scripture do not layer for yourselves
28:58
treasures on earth where moth and rust destroy and wear thieves breaking instill but layer for yourselves
29:05
treasures in heaven where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and still for where your
29:12
treasure is there your heart will be also what is your treasure where is my treasure
29:19
where your treasure is your heart will be if you treasure things on earth that's where your gears will
29:24
be but he want us to treasure things in heaven where christ is seated at the right hand of god this is where we need
29:30
to put our gaze and constantly say lord please remind us of why we are here when we are
29:36
struggling when we are going through persecutions whatever you're going through figure fix your gaze up on there
29:42
fix your gaze that's it i'm looking forward to the city of god so that you you you are not so caught up
29:48
in the things on earth that's the antidote and this is only by faith we cannot do this on our own we have to
29:54
rely on god because scripture tells us remain in me and i remain in you if you
30:00
remain in me and my words remain in you you will bear much more fruit so the
30:06
writer has given us the cure against seeking ease comfort and pleasure on the side of
30:11
eternity there is nothing wrong with wanting a house or a family and all these other things but when these
30:17
earthly goals eclipse our desire for god then there is a problem i'll repeat that
30:23
again when these earthly goals eclipse our desire for god then we have a problem
30:29
see the writers congregation were seeking peace from all their troubles and there was nothing wrong with that
30:34
they were being persecuted so there was nothing wrong with seeking relief and god tells us to cast what our burdens
30:40
upon him because he cares for us but the problem is that some of them begin to shrink back to the old habits and we're
30:48
drifting from the word of god and neglecting the great salvation that was awaiting them so in that way
30:54
their patience waiting of the lord was affected and the writer's objective was
30:59
to get them back on the right track so where do you stand where do i stand in this manner have you
31:06
have you been so consumed with the things on earth that your taste for the things in in
31:11
heaven or the things of god have died and this is the call to examine yourself and to examine myself you know like
31:19
it's easy for us to just fall back into bad old habits it is really easy
31:24
you begin to drift along and if there's no one to recall to call you back this is why he said in the earlier chapters
31:30
in 10 do not neglect meeting together with other believers because iron sharpens iron
31:35
you want to be around strong born-again holy spirit filled believers because they will encourage you as well this is
31:41
why the body of christ exists so that we can spur one another onto what love and good works
31:48
the spirit works in us but then there's a connection between the believers the body of believers
31:53
so we have to constantly go back to the word of god go back to the word of god and ask the lord to use the word to
32:00
change our heart scripture says in romans 1 be transformed by what by the renewing of your mind is a daily thing
32:07
it's not like this is why the daily blood of god is so vital jesus tells us man does not live
32:14
by bread alone but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of god this is why every day we've got to go
32:20
back to the source say lord please fill us again today fill us you cannot use the grace of yesterday today it's a daily bread
32:26
daily relying on god try to do everything on your own you see you fall right on your face you cannot
32:33
do it so waiting is is there the things that we have been taught here
32:39
the discipline of waiting on the lord even when things seems as if nothing is working god is working
32:46
he's working on building your watch your character and my character because we are filled with so much junk
32:52
we've accumulated all this junk all our lives and he has to do it with those renewing our mind change the way we see
32:58
things we have to look at things from his perspective not our perspective
33:04
so let this be an encouragement to you have a good day and i'll see you next week thank you
