Peace isn’t always found in avoiding conflict

Sometimes we search for the “easy button”, avoiding hard conversations, distancing ourselves from people, or calling it a boundary when it may actually be a wall.
Real boundaries are meant to support healthier connection, not eliminate relationships altogether. But conflict can feel deeply uncomfortable to the nervous system, especially when anxiety, fear, or past experiences are involved.
The goal isn’t avoiding discomfort at all costs. The goal is learning how to navigate hard conversations in ways that create honesty, clarity, and healthier relationships over time.
