US: USS Theodore Roosevelt Leads Massive International Naval Exercise Near Hawaii.

Hawaii, United States - July 22, 2026 The Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71) led a multinational group sail on July 22, 2026, during Exercise Rim of the Pacific 2026. The exercise is taking place in the Pacific Ocean off the coast of Hawaii, with activities scheduled from June 24 through July 31 in and around the Hawaiian Islands. RIMPAC 2026 brings together 30 nations, 30 ships, five submarines, 15 national land forces, more than 190 aircraft, and more than 30,000 personnel. As the world's largest international maritime exercise, RIMPAC provides participants with a training opportunity while strengthening cooperative relationships that are considered critical to maintaining the safety of sea lanes and security across the world's oceans. RIMPAC 2026 marks the 30th exercise in the series, which began in 1971.
