U.S. Navy, Marine Corps, and allied aircraft also crossed the skies above the city during the International Naval Review 250 and International Aerial Review 250 celebrations. More than 175 U.S. and allied aircraft took part in the historic aerial review, demonstrating precision, partnership, and the strength of naval and allied airpower. The event honored 250 years of American independence and recognized the enduring role of the U.S. Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard on, under, and above the seas. For 250 years, the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps stood watch, remaining constant and unwavering in mission while preventing crises and defending America's independence.
