Greece - May 18, 2026 The Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team, known as the Red Arrows, are carrying out Exercise SpringHawk in Greece. The five-week exercise is designed to allow the team to refine and complete preparations for their display programme ahead of the 2026 summer display season. The Red Arrows are the Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team, representing the United Kingdom both domestically and internationally while demonstrating RAF excellence. The team is made up of pilots and more than 100 highly trained support personnel who work together to deliver the aerobatic displays. Each pilot brings prior fast-jet operational experience, having flown aircraft including the Tornado, Typhoon, or Harrier. This operational background supports the RAF’s wider mission of securing airspace and protecting national interests throughout the year. The team is based at RAF Waddington in Lincolnshire.
