US, Phoenix: Phoenix Shooting Investigation With Both Scenes.

Phoenix, United States - May 17, 2026 05/17/2026 04:00 am GMT-0700 PHOENIX, Ariz. – Phoenix police responded to the area of 61st Avenue and Roosevelt Street for reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located an unoccupied pickup truck, riddled with bullet holes, that crashed into a parked van. A short time later, officers located a gunshot victim in the parking lot of a McDonald's at the intersection of 67th Avenue and Van Buren Street. Officers at the scene confirmed that the victim located at the McDonald's is the driver of the pickup truck located at 61st Avenue and Roosevelt Street. The victim was transported to a local trauma center in unknown condition. Officers established a scene along 61st Avenue, north of Roosevelt Street. Detectives are responding to the scene to assume command of the investigation.
