US, Phoenix: Mesa Person Shot On McLellan Road.

Phoenix, United States - May 31, 2026 05/31/2026 02:11 am GMT-0700 MESA, Ariz. – The Mesa Police Department, Salt River Police Department, and Mesa Fire Department responded to reports of a person shot on McLellan Road just west of Center Street just after 2:10 a.m. Sunday. Police and fire crews arrived and located an unresponsive victim suffering from at least one gunshot wound. Firefighters began performing CPR on the victim as they transported the victim to a local trauma hospital. Police appear to be focusing their investigation on a silver Ford Explorer parked on the north side of the roadway. No additional information was immediately available.
