US, Phoenix: Mesa Police Investigate Possible Double Shooting.

Phoenix, United States - July 07, 2026 07/07/2026 04:31 am GMT-0700 MESA, Ariz. – The Mesa Police Department and the Mesa Fire Department responded to reports of a gunshot victim in the 9800 block of East Strobe Avenue shortly after 4:30 a.m. Tuesday. According to initial unconfirmed information gathered at the scene, officers arrived and located a victim suffering from at least one gunshot wound. Fire department radio traffic indicated that a second victim, suffering unknown injuries, was also located at the scene. Both victims were transported to a local area hospital in unknown condition. Police established a large crime scene in the surrounding neighborhood as they began investigating the shooting.
