US, Phoenix: Phoenix Shooting At Homeless Encampment Under Investigation.

Phoenix, United States - June 01, 2026 06/01/2026 04:20 am GMT-0700 PHOENIX, Ariz. – The Phoenix Police Department and Phoenix Fire Department responded to reports of a gunshot victim at the intersection of Jackson Street and 11th Avenue at around 4:20 a.m. Monday morning. Police and firefighters arrived and located a gunshot victim at the corner of the intersection. The victim was transported to a local area hospital in unknown condition. Police established a large crime scene surrounding the shooting location and ordered the unhoused individuals occupying the sidewalks to vacate the area as they conducted their investigation.
