US, Los Angeles: Porter Ranch Attempted Burglary Leads to Police Response.

Los Angeles, United States - July 13, 2026 07/13/2026 03:20 am GMT-0700 PORTER RANCH, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Three suspects attempted to break into a home on the 11000 block of Wood Ranch Road before fleeing over a wall. The family, who observed the suspects through surveillance footage, called 911 and informed authorities that their mother was inside the home alone with the family dog. It remains unclear whether the suspects successfully broke into the house. Following the incident, the family reached out to neighbors, sharing the footage of the burglars and asking them to check on the mother. Although police were dispatched, the suspects had already fled by the time officers arrived. The Los Angeles Police Department cleared the home, and no injuries were reported. It is also uncertain if any property was taken from the residence.
