The incident occurred when a homeowner returned to their residence on the 600 block of North Normandie and discovered that the home had been ransacked, with multiple items missing. While investigating the scene, the homeowner heard footsteps on the roof. The Los Angeles Police Department later cleared the home and confirmed that the suspects had fled prior to their arrival.
