US, Los Angeles: La Puente DEA Agents Discover Illegal Fireworks During Search Warrant.

Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to a residence on 731 Del Valle Avenue in La Puente to assist Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) agents with an operation concerning a large quantity of illegal fireworks. A DEA sergeant, who requested to remain off-camera due to the undercover nature of the work, confirmed that agents were serving a search warrant for drugs and firearms when they discovered the significant amount of fireworks inside the home. Investigators have not yet disclosed the amount of drugs or illegal fireworks found on the premises, nor whether any individuals have been taken into custody. Meanwhile, deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department's Industry Station are on site alongside DEA agents as they work to determine the best method for safely removing the fireworks. The DEA has already cleared all drugs and weapons listed in the original search warrant and is now focused on the next steps regarding the fireworks.
