Los Angeles, United States - September 29, 2026 09/28/2026 09:30 pm GMT-0700 Hacienda Heights – This evening, deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Industry Station responded to a 911 call reporting a burglary in progress with shots fired at a residence on 15406 Skyline Drive, a gated private community. Upon arrival, approximately 10 to 15 units, along with an airship, were on the scene. Sheriff’s deputies have made multiple callouts to the residence. They detained one person, who was placed in the back of a patrol unit. Around 10 people were observed outside, speaking to a sheriff’s deputy near the patrol cars. The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department has requested a K9 unit and the Special Enforcement Bureau to assist in clearing the house. A neighbor, who wished to remain anonymous, mentioned the home belongs to a famous producer but declined to provide further details. Stolen property from the residence was found outside the fence along the hillside and also across the street. Sheriff’s deputies instructed security or bodyguards not to touch the stolen property as it is considered evidence. Deputies have been observed placing evidence markers, though it is unclear if any shell casings related to the reported shots fired during the burglary have been found. The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Special Enforcement Bureau is currently in the process of clearing the residence to ensure no additional suspects are inside. The department has not yet released any additional details about the incident.
