Los Angeles, United States - August 01, 2026 08/01/2026 03:30 am GMT-0700 EAGLE ROCK, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – A single-vehicle rollover traffic collision resulted in at least one fatality this evening after the vehicle crashed into a fire hydrant, complicating rescue efforts. Officials with the Los Angeles Police Department reported that they could not set up a canopy until the water was shut off, a task that the Los Angeles Fire Department struggled to complete. Water gushed into the neighborhood, overflowing trash cans and causing debris to flow into the streets. Family members of the victim arrived at the scene to console each other. No other victims were reported.
