PEDESTRIAN NARROWLY ESCAPING BEING CRUSHED BY OVERTURNED TANKER IZMIR, TÜRKIYE - AUG. 14: A pedestrian narrowly escaped being crushed after a water tanker detached from a tractor and rolled onto a sidewalk in Türkiye's western province of Izmir on Friday, Aug. 14. The incident occurred at an intersection in Buca district as the tanker broke loose while the tractor was turning and overturned toward the pavement. Security camera footage showed the tanker striking a pedestrian who was looking at a mobile phone, throwing the person aside moments before the vehicle rolled past. The footage also captured water spilling across the road after the tanker overturned.
