CCTV FOOTAGE SHOWING PEOPLE HELPING DRIVER LYING ON SIDEWALK KOCAELI, TÜRKİYE - AUG. 19, 2026: A car fell into a stairwell after veering off the road in the western Turkish province of Kocaeli on Wednesday, Aug. 19. The car veered off the road and headed toward pedestrians on the sidewalk, who narrowly avoided being hit before the vehicle plunged into the stairwell. The driver, who was injured in the accident, managed to get out of the car and lay down on the sidewalk. People nearby rushed to the driver's aid following the accident.
