SWEDISH ACTIVIST DROR FEILER, HEAD OF EUROPEAN JEWS FOR A JUST PEACE, SPEAKING TO REPORTER (Swedish)STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN — AUG. 15, 2026: Demonstrators gathered in the Swedish capital of Stockholm on Saturday, Aug. 15, to protest Israeli strikes on Gaza and southern Lebanon. Protesters used dolls and medical robes covered in fake blood to draw attention to the killing of children and medical workers. Israel has continued its military offensive in Gaza since Oct. 7, 2023. Palestinian authorities said more than 73,000 people have been killed and over 174,000 injured, most of them women and children, while about 90% of the enclave’s infrastructure has been destroyed. Israel also carried out airstrikes on southern Lebanon on Saturday, killing 11 people.
