VARIOUS OF PEOPLE MARHCING ON STREET WITH PALESTINIAN FLAGS AND BANNERSBERLIN, GERMANY - MAY 2, 2026: Hundreds of people marched in Germany’s capital Berlin on Saturday, May 2, in support of Palestinians and to protest Israel’s actions in Gaza. Demonstrators gathered at Neptunbrunnen Square in the Mitte district before marching toward Potsdamer Platz, carrying banners reading “Stop the genocide” and “Silence approves genocide.” Chanting pro-Palestinian slogans, participants also criticized U.S. and Israeli policies toward Iran and Lebanon. The protest, held under heavy security, ended without incident. Israel has imposed a crippling blockade on the Gaza Strip since 2007, leaving the territory’s 2.4 million people on the verge of starvation. The Israeli army launched a brutal two-year offensive on Gaza in October 2023, killing more than 72,000 people, and destroying the enclave.
