The protest began near the Platz der Luftbrücke subway station before participants marched through the city toward Hermann Square. Demonstrators carried Palestinian flags, photos of children killed in the conflict, and banners reading “Stop the genocide,” “Stop the occupation,” and “Silence approves genocide.” Protesters also chanted slogans including “Free Palestine,” “Stop arming Israel,” and “This is not a war, this is genocide.” Some participants carried Iranian and Lebanese flags during the march, condemning military attacks targeting Iran and Lebanon. Local police deployed extensive security measures along the demonstration route. Authorities reported that the march concluded at Hermann Square without incident. According to Gaza’s Health Ministry, at least 883 people have been killed and 2,648 others injured in Israeli attacks since the ceasefire was announced. The agreement was meant to halt Israel’s two-year war that killed more than 72,000 people, most of them women and children, injured over 172,000 since October 2023, and caused massive destruction affecting 90% of civilian infrastructure.
