Germany: Thousands march in Berlin during May Day demonstrations.

DEMONSTRATORS GATHERED AT NEPTUNBRUNNEN SQUARE (TWO SHOTS) BERLIN, GERMANY - MAY 1: Hundreds of thousands of people joined May Day demonstrations and marches across Germany on Friday, May 1. According to the German Trade Union Confederation (DGB), 366,710 people participated in 413 rallies held nationwide under the slogan “Our jobs first, then your profits.” In Berlin, thousands marched from Strausberger Square to Neptunbrunnen Square in front of City Hall during a trade union rally. Supporters of Palestine also joined the march, carrying banners reading “No weapons for genocide.” Police said around 7,000 people attended the demonstration in Berlin, while organizers estimated participation at 12,000.
