VARIOUS OF ISRAELI SOLDIERS AT SCENEHEBRON, WEST BANK, PALESTINE - JULY 28: Israeli forces intervened in a memorial ceremony held in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron in the occupied West Bank, on Tuesday, July 28, honoring Palestinian activist Awdah Hathaleen, who was killed in the area a year earlier. The gathering, attended by foreign and Israeli activists, commemorated Hathaleen, who had contributed to the Oscar-winning documentary No Other Land. During the intervention, Israeli forces also assaulted Israeli opposition lawmaker Ofer Cassif, who was participating in the memorial, according to witnesses. Palestinian activist Awdah Hathaleen — who contributed to the documentary — was killed on July 28 in Masafer Yatta when Israeli settler Yinon Levi opened fire indiscriminately.
