The protesters marched through the area while beating drums and chanting slogans against the administration. Police officers intervened to clear the street when a group of demonstrators attempted to block a main road. Authorities forcibly removed several individuals who staged a sit-in on the asphalt, carrying them away from the protest site to restore traffic flow.
