Demonstrators chanted anti-government slogans and called for early elections and the resignation of the government. Participants criticized the continuation of attacks on Gaza and condemned what they described as a “war government.” Protesters also carried banners opposing a proposed “death penalty law” targeting Palestinian prisoners and called for an end to settler attacks against Palestinians.
