VARIOUS OF FIRE HELICOPTERS AND PLANES DROPPING WATERSICILY, ITALY - JULY 22: Firefighting efforts continued on Italy’s Sicily island on Wednesday, July 22, as wildfires spread across several areas due to strong winds, while a firefighter died after falling ill, local sources said. Fires near Palermo closed roads, threatened residential areas and forced evacuations, while some homes were seen surrounded by flames. The blazes also caused power outages and disrupted daily life in parts of the island. In the southern province of Agrigento, more than 100 people were evacuated after a fire near Santo Stefano Quisquina spread with the wind and threatened residential areas.
