Iran - September 05, 2026 Gulf of Oman – Video shows U.S. Central Command forces striking three Iranian crude oil carriers on September 5, 2026, after the IRGC launched ballistic missiles toward two U.S. Navy warships. A U.S. aircraft carrier and a guided-missile destroyer evaded the attacks, and no American personnel were harmed. CENTCOM said M/T Downy off Kharg Island and M/T Stark 1 near Jask were permanently disabled. M/T Kylo, also known as “Noxen,” was completely destroyed in the Gulf of Oman after its crew was directed to abandon ship. The footage shows the Kylo taking multiple hits before sinking. The three ships were described as part of a multibillion-dollar shadow network that funds the IRGC and its proxies. Adm. Brad Cooper said: “If you shoot at two of our ships, we will impose an even higher economic cost — taking out three of yours.” Pete Hegseth said: “If Iran shoots at US ships, we will destroy (and sink) their oil tankers.”
