Washington, United States - September 06, 2026 Footage released by the U.S. Central Command shows imagery related to U.S. military strikes on three Iranian crude oil carriers in regional waters, September 6, 2026. The U.S. military permanently disabled the M/T Downy off Kharg Island and the M/T Stark 1 near Jask, and destroyed the M/T Kylo in the Gulf of Oman after its crew was directed to abandon ship, following ballistic missile attacks by Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps targeting two U.S. Navy warships.
