Speaking at a news conference in the Colombian capital, the Historic Pact candidate released the report in response to allegations raised by the campaign of far-right rival Abelardo de la Espriella regarding his health and ability to govern. Cepeda said the medical assessment confirmed he was in optimal condition to carry out the duties of the presidency and rejected suggestions that his health could affect his candidacy.
