The drugs were concealed among coffee sacks and coffee-derived products that were due to be shipped from Colombia to the Spanish port of Valencia, according to police. Footage released by the National Police of Colombia showed officers inspecting the cargo, testing the suspected narcotics and displaying sacks linked to the seizure. National Police Director Gen. William Oswaldo Rincon Zambrano said the operation dealt a significant blow to criminal networks operating across the Caribbean region. Authorities said Colombian trafficking groups increasingly use agricultural exports, including coffee and other products, to conceal narcotics destined for international markets.
