Made by Google event: Pixel 11 Pro, Fold & Watch 5 breakdown

Google's Pixel series has not exactly been known for keeping its secrets well guarded

Year after year, dozens of Pixel rumors show up all over the internet, and historically, many of them have been right

The Pixel 11 is coming on August 12th, and that's no secret. Google's online store has that literally front and center

So what are we expecting from the new Pixel 11 phones? And what have we already heard through the grapevine

This is All Things Mobile. Let's break it down. The next Pixel lineup comes after last year's Pixel 10 series

made a number of notable changes. The phones got PixelSnap magnets that made them easy to use with magnetic accessories like wallets and wireless chargers

The Tensor G5 processor powered new AI features like voice translation over phone calls

and MagicQ for proactively providing data from your calendar and Gmail. My favorite feature was the base Pixel 10's dedicated telephoto camera for Zoom photos

While we don't officially have details about the full Pixel 11 series lineup

Nicole Lee has been rounding up all the various rumors and leaks about the new devices for CNET

Here's what we're anticipating. Google's next Pixel 11 lineup is expected to iterate on last year's Pixel 10

That means we probably see a base Pixel 11 with a 6 screen a specced Pixel 11 Pro the larger Pixel 11 Pro XL with a 6 screen and the book Pixel 11 Pro Fold That foldable phone is entering an

especially crowded field, facing off against Motorola's Razer Fold, Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold 8

and Z Fold 8 Ultra, and the rumored foldable iPhone expected for this fall. Google's also

expected to reveal a Pixel Watch 5, and wildly, and I can't make this up, that watch leaked earlier

this summer when it was reportedly found by a scuba diver in the ocean who enlisted the help

of Gearbox founder Randy Pitchford to help get the watch returned to someone at Google. The Pixel

11 lineup is likely to get a price increase over last year's Pixel 10, and that's because of the

ongoing shortage of RAM that's leading to increasing the cost to build a phone. According to a series

of deleted Amazon listings and a number of other reports, the base Pixel 11 could start

at $899, which would be a $100 price increase over last year's base Pixel 10

But in turn, the base model would start at 256GB of storage, and there won't be any

128GB variants for any of the Pixel 11 phones That presumed price increase continues across the line According to rumors the Pixel 11 Pro is presumed to start at the Pixel 11 Pro XL at

and the Pixel 11 Pro Fold at $1,899. It's also rumored that the 256GB Pro models will get 12GB

of RAM, while the more expensive 5, 12, and 1TB variants will get 16GB. The Pixel 11 lineup might

also get a new Pixel Glow feature, which sounds like a notification light on the back of the

device that could light up for notifications. This would be a first for Google's Pixel lineup

and we've seen similar notification lights on other Android phones. Nothing, for instance

puts fun glowing lights on the back of most of its phones. The Pixel 11 lineup is said to come

in several fun-sounding colors. The Pixel 11 will reportedly come in colors named Frost, Pistachio

Hibiscus, and Obsidian, according to a leaked Amazon listing. The Pro and Pro XL will come in

Canyon and Obsidian, and the 11 Pro Fold would come in Olive and Obsidian

The cameras on the base Pixel 11 also may be getting an upgrade

The Pixel 11's tip to move up to a 50 megapixel sensor over last year's 48 megapixel wide

camera and a 13 megapixel selfie camera will also be on upgrade over last year 10 megapixel camera Battery life will also get a small bump on the Pixel 11 and 11 Pro moving to a 4 mAh capacity

which is a tiny bit more than the Pixel 10's 4,970 mAh

The batteries on the 11 Pro XL and Fold might be a tiny bit smaller than last year's phones

with reported capacities of 4,985 mAh and 4,750 mAh. It's worth noting that the batteries might vary between the Pixel phones sold in the

US versus those sold internationally. Last year's Pixel 10 series was the first to go eSIM only in the US market, which sometimes

does allow for a little more room to fit a slightly bigger battery. All of the new Pixel 11 phones are expected to get Google's Tensor G6 processor, and

I'd imagine when it's announced, Google will show off a series of new AI-powered features
