Netanyahu 'pressured' military to attack Iran in the days running up to election

Iranian professor warns that Britain's involvement in the war against Iran makes the UK government "complicit in war and therefore a target". Mohammad Marandi, professor at the University of Tehran, joins Shelagh Fogarty to discuss Iran's position on Israel, its nuclear programme and allegations of Iranian interference in the UK. Marandi insists Iran is not pursuing a nuclear weapon and argues that attacks on the country are instead intended to undermine Iran. The interview becomes increasingly heated when he is challenged over whether Iran is using proxies to interfere in Britain. Marandi denies the allegation before turning the question back on the UK, asking whether the use of British military bases makes the government complicit in attacks on Iran.
