The things that you need to do aren't that hard, but you do need to do them properly. You will find this list below:
1. Spool your fishing line
2. Position the crankarm (Left Handed or Right Handed)
3. Set Drag
I will show a separate video on how to properly spool your fishing line onto your spinning reel. Their is a technique that allows you to add the coiled fishing line to go onto the spool in the exact same direction. This will help out your casting and keep you from getting so many tangles
Positioning the crankarm only requires that you unscrew the crankarm and position it depending on your dominant hand.
