and I dare say that the young man
0:01
sitting next to me today has such a
0:04
precocious style when he came out back
0:06
in
0:07
1989 with word to the Jazz that he was
0:10
ahead of himself he was ahead of the
0:12
time right then and there people wasn't
0:15
rapping like him they weren't
0:16
conjugating verbs like he did they
0:19
weren't dissecting similes and metaphors
0:21
like he was they weren't picking the
0:24
pocket apart just like he does to this
0:26
day I want to welcome him to the show
0:29
the man hit me says sway I'm in town
0:31
just want to come say hi inside or
0:33
outside the building warm my heart this
0:36
is my brother jazo is in the building
0:38
the legendary jazzo Brooklyn Fest thank
0:42
you thank you jazo what's going on
0:45
brother man how you been man everybody
0:48
I'm you good always great what's what's
0:51
on jazzz O's agenda nowadays what's
0:54
going on like what what keep what's
0:56
keeping your attention uh well the
0:58
newest thing with me is a a partner um
1:02
from Virginia and myself you know um
1:06
Ernest uh ly uh we established a um LL
1:11
not a LLC but a nonprofit called
1:13
scooters are Us scooters are us yeah and
1:16
it's it's basically to um facilitate uh
1:20
immobile people who don't have the um
1:23
insurance coverage to get Mobility
1:26
Vehicles be it you know everything from
1:28
a cane to you know motorized you know
1:32
Stuff on Wheels so we we doing that he
1:35
he originally established it and then we
1:37
restructured it and did it you know more
1:40
uh a little bit corporate you know which
1:43
is necessary and um we just started on
1:46
that we just got our um that [ __ ]
1:49
falling yeah the mic falling man see you
1:51
nothing bothered you till the mic moved
1:53
I notic that's a TR MC right there magic
1:55
you possess man the mic goes where you
1:57
the M moving what's going on
2:00
it was all kind of chaos surrounding
2:01
jazo but when the mic moved that
2:04
bothered him he didn't like that all
2:05
right's going on my bad so but how did
2:09
you get into this what what what
2:11
interested why were you interested in
2:12
this he originally established it you
2:15
know but he was doing it as an an act of
2:17
kindness you know for people that he
2:19
knew who needed um Mobility uh vehicles
2:23
and apparatus to get around so um he
2:28
told me about it and we just talked and
2:30
talked and he was like well what you
2:32
into and I'm like um I'm sort of working
2:35
to get to what you're into because I I
2:38
like giving back and you know sometimes
2:41
uh time doesn't allow you to really
2:43
focus on a particular thing you know um
2:46
I got I got a lot I mean preaching to
2:49
the choir I got a lot of [ __ ] going on
2:51
but I want to hear about it though you
2:52
know so basically um we restructured and
2:57
established um scooters are R Us and and
3:00
so we just got our uh zoning you know
3:02
documents and did all the Bois and IUS
3:06
and all this other technical documents
3:08
[ __ ] and and we putting it together
3:10
proper so we're going to go um you know
3:13
not uh legally public cuz technically
3:16
we're already public because they don't
3:17
let you do nothing unless you get all
3:19
the address validation and stuff but um
3:23
but we we're going to be busting moves
3:25
very soon you know doing public things
3:27
doing events you know to to ra funds
3:31
because you know we we get um somebody
3:34
actually is donating I can't mention
3:36
their name but they actually donate the
3:39
um Mobility vehicles and other apparatus
3:42
to us so you figure it's only right you
3:45
know what I'm saying that we we give to
3:46
the people who can't provide for
3:48
themselves with in in that aspect I love
3:51
that man too you you you you not only
3:54
are you one of the most celebrated MC's
3:56
to ever touch a mic you a great
3:58
humanitarian but but but
4:01
but what allured you to this like SC
4:05
specifically scooters for people who AR
4:08
who are immobile did you have a family
4:09
member or um What attracted this to you
4:12
well actually Ernest ly he has you know
4:14
difficulty in Mobility he has limited
4:17
use of um you know one of his uh legs
4:21
you know basically uh limited below his
4:24
waist you know he can walk and stuff
4:26
like that but he he has to walk with a
4:27
cane and and stuff like that and I I
4:30
really I was reluctant to mention that
4:32
because I don't know how people feel
4:35
about you know you know putting it it's
4:37
not you know putting their business out
4:39
like that but it's nothing to be ashamed
4:41
I'm not saying that yeah but yeah that
4:43
that's one of the things that um because
4:46
the original donation of the mobility
4:49
vehicles and and stuff like that it it
4:52
started from somebody who was concerned
4:54
about him and so once he started you
4:58
know he realized he's like you know the
4:59
person was like I got a whole bunch of
5:01
these you know I I get them all the time
5:03
and you know some of them need some
5:05
repairs you know so initially uh Ernest
5:09
had got somebody who um actually can
5:12
repair them okay so we can not only take
5:14
fully functional ones we can take some
5:17
that need repairs and and donate those
5:20
as well wow I love this jazo is here
5:22
legendary MC Tracy you want to jump in
5:24
yeah absolutely I told he didn't even
5:26
know he was going to get on the mic
5:27
today right he didn't even know he was
5:28
coming in for our
5:30
Jazz saying I was like that's crazy yeah
5:33
man I thought you know 13 we on we on
5:35
some vibrational [ __ ] on some vibration
5:38
talk about that number 13 what do you
5:40
mean by that oh man should should we do
5:42
that would you please that was the that
5:44
was the Ali oop right there you Ali oop
5:48
yourself I know Ali and the oop yeah man
5:51
I mean we going into 13 the um the
5:54
number that if you look in some uh older
5:57
buildings they have uh 11 12 then 12 a
6:01
for a reason you know some of the uh
6:03
Masonic secrets that go back even before
6:06
that dealing with the um the morish
6:08
science and um you know when you talk
6:11
about the morar you talking about you
6:13
know the people that they called black
6:16
you know the so-called blacks um but the
6:20
13 is uh the highest number of the
6:23
vibrational um wavelength of the planet
6:27
so that's why yeah so that's why the 133
6:29
number 13 has been heralded secretly
6:32
throughout Millennia because it it is
6:35
just that you know you see like like I
6:37
said with the buildings they you know
6:39
supposed to be like the um the Forbidden
6:42
number or secret number you know but
6:45
it's it's not really a secret it's
6:47
sacred and that's a difference not a
6:50
secret it's sacred but why do in your
6:54
estimation mhm is it not being taught
6:57
that properly why is the opposite being
6:59
taught oh the same reason they don't
7:01
teach you about all of those additives
7:03
that affect our uh genetics yeah you
7:07
know what I'm saying the same reason why
7:09
you know they get us involved in these
7:11
politics where we really don't play any
7:13
role at all you know I mean down to I I
7:17
don't want to get you taken off jazo if
7:20
you could get me taken off a air that
7:22
would be an amazing
7:27
thing I got a high five
7:31
but I don't think that's going to happen
7:33
and then you don't have to go there
7:35
either I know where you was about to go
7:37
we can keep and it didn't it didn't it
7:39
didn't mean that I you know or I don't
7:41
know what I could say in my you could
7:43
say whatever brother I'll be honest with
7:44
you I didn't want you to yeah I didn't
7:46
want you to think that I was implying
7:47
that you weren't a bad [ __ ] you
7:49
better talk that [ __ ] ass you better
7:51
tell
7:54
them you know now you was protecting me
7:57
yeah never inclined to to believe any
8:00
real man yeah no you were protecting me
8:02
um I love this conversation but that
8:05
comes from your teachings you grew up U
8:07
but talk about your teacherss man um I
8:10
was always sort of an uh introvert I was
8:14
like a low-key introvert like I went
8:16
outside I had friends I played you know
8:19
but I spent my downtime or or My me time
8:23
doing other things like I you know when
8:25
I look back I spent like I spent like a
8:29
third of my life just being quiet and
8:31
thinking and uh a wise man told me maybe
8:35
about 25 years ago he said you have two
8:38
ears and one mouth you know so you
8:41
should listen twice as much as you speak
8:43
agree so um you know I didn't even know
8:47
that I was applying that until later on
8:49
and it just it just felt better for me
8:52
to be quiet and um it also stemmed from
8:56
my search for god um you know it's
8:59
prevalent everybody's talking about God
9:02
you know your grandmother's um you know
9:04
we went down to Virginia every summer
9:07
and you know she was pushing me into
9:09
church you know I didn't know what was
9:11
going on you know people coming up and
9:14
preacher messing up their hair and stuff
9:16
giving them the Holy Spirit and stuff
9:17
and I was like I wasn't being
9:21
um I wasn't hating I wasn't being uh um
9:25
I I I I just looked at it like I I want
9:27
to know how how this is being done like
9:31
I want to know what deemed this
9:34
individual or what ordained him to have
9:37
the power to do these things and I can't
9:39
do it either you know um you know the
9:42
whole um God spoke to me this morning
9:45
speech and like why he didn't speak to
9:48
me you know why why does he need a
9:51
central person to have other people come
9:54
to this central place and tell them a
9:57
message you know this is supposed to be
9:59
the big cheese and I'm not I'm not
10:02
trying to insult anybody's way of life
10:05
religion and you know but I you know I
10:07
will say I'm not religious I'm spiritual
10:10
it's a difference and um so I just
10:13
always thought about that so I opened up
10:15
the Bible that was my only reference
10:17
because I listen to people so my only
10:20
reference was the
10:21
Bible and I was
10:23
confused I was really confused and this
10:26
is not to say that there are no um
10:30
truths esoteric truths in the Bible
10:32
because there definitely are it's just
10:34
the Contex under which we are taught SL
10:38
programmed to think under is is just
10:42
really all jammed up and and so in that
10:45
journey and this and this is a lifelong
10:48
journey right this is this ain't
10:49
something you started at 18 and ended at
10:51
28 oh no I asked at at at the age of
10:54
five I remember this um I asked my
10:57
mother what does nothing look like
11:00
and she told me to what a kid man I hate
11:03
those questions from kids you love
11:04
precous children like you
11:09
little how did she answer she said she
11:12
told me to close my eyes and then I
11:15
closed my eyes and it was in the daytime
11:18
and it just so happened I was looking
11:19
toward the window and the sun was out
11:22
and um she said what do you see I said I
11:25
actually see like a a like like orangish
11:28
pinkish color
11:30
I was like is that nothing and she was
11:32
like she was like turn away from the
11:33
window and close your eyes she said you
11:35
see what do you see I see I see black
11:37
and then she was like okay that's what
11:39
nothing looks like I'm like but that's
11:42
black yeah so what is and then I asked
11:44
her again I was like what does nothing
11:46
look like and you know she didn't answer
11:48
me so at that point and we all do it at
11:52
a certain point at that point I realized
11:55
that at least on an esoteric level um I
11:59
had surpassed the mentality of my
12:03
parents wow at four five five five at
12:07
five and how would you answer your
12:08
five-year-old self now
12:12
um you can't look and it and then it
12:16
depends on your what are you talking
12:19
about if you talking about eyesight like
12:22
you know visual sight what does nothing
12:24
look like and technically you would have
12:27
to break down the word no thing so it
12:29
would be something that doesn't exist on
12:32
a a material Level you know um within
12:36
this um what they call Third Dimension
12:38
or what have you so it's sort of like a
12:41
um it's sort of
12:43
oxymoronic to ask that question right
12:45
because soon as you say look yes you're
12:48
talking about Vision yeah so when
12:50
something looks like something that
12:51
means it's in in existence on our plane
12:54
of existence so it's it's really like a
12:57
backwards question you asked your
12:59
parents a trick question at five bro
13:02
yeah the only the only part the only
13:05
part is I didn't know was a trick
13:07
question back then I was just trying to
13:09
find out some [ __ ] what does nothing
13:11
look like jazo is here man get his man a
13:13
round of applause he's legendary for so
13:16
many reasons uh are you happy right now
13:19
jazzo yeah I'm I'm happy I'm happy
13:22
sometimes sometimes I forget
13:24
that no you what saying it can make you
13:28
forget like yo then you got to sit
13:30
yourself down and be like oh [ __ ] wow
13:33
I'm happy I'm all right you know
13:35
sometimes I I don't use happy I use
13:37
content okay you know that's when that's
13:40
those times you forget that you
13:42
happy but um yeah that's right you know
13:45
what I'm saying but but you know getting
13:47
down to it yeah I'm I'm happy you know
13:51
I'm happy to be
13:53
um learning you know experiencing life
13:57
and to look at everybody everybody in
13:59
this room and to understand that we're
14:02
all on an individual journey and a
14:05
unified Journey simultaneously amen it's
14:08
such a a beautiful thing is is as
14:11
horrible as horrible a thing that we see
14:15
or or may see in the world like they're
14:18
still like home based yeah you know what
14:20
I'm saying sometimes sometime you got to
14:23
steal a base to get around you know but
14:26
you know there's always home base and
14:27
long as you keep
14:29
keep pushing keep going keep them yeah
14:32
keep them legs moving you you going to
14:34
get the home base Jazz always here man
14:36
just my brother just came to hang out
