US, Phoenix: Mesa Officer-Involved Shooting Investigation Part 1.

Phoenix, United States - August 04, 2026 08/03/2026 07:18 pm GMT-0700 MESA, Ariz. – The Mesa Police Department was involved in a shooting in the 3800 block of South Emery Circle around 7:15 p.m. Monday. According to Mesa Police, no officers were injured in the incident. Police are expected to host a press conference shortly and provide additional information. The officer-involved shooting investigation is expected to be led by an agency with the East Valley Critical Incident Response Team, although at the time of publication it is unknown which agency will be taking the lead in the investigation.
