US, Phoenix: Mesa 2 Dead After Quadruple Shooting With Sound On Tape.

Phoenix, United States - June 29, 2026 06/28/2026 08:05 pm GMT-0700 MESA, Ariz. – The Mesa Police Department is investigating a quadruple shooting that occurred in the 2800 block of East Fountain Street, which left two people dead Sunday night. According to initial unconfirmed information gathered at the scene, Mesa Police detective Laura Cervantes stated officers were called to the area to reports of a shooting shortly after 8:00 p.m. Officers arrived and located four individuals who had been shot. Two of the individuals were pronounced deceased, and the other two were transported to a local area hospital in unknown condition. Cervantes stated that the shooting was an isolated incident and that there is no active threat to the community. Detectives are expected to remain on scene for several hours as they investigate the shooting.
