US, Phoenix: Mesa Apartment Complex Shooting Investigation.

Phoenix, United States - August 16, 2026 08/15/2026 09:36 pm GMT-0700 MESA, Ariz. – The Mesa Police Department and the Mesa Fire Department responded to reports of a person shot at the Rise Apartments complex in the 900 block of West Broadway Road just after 9:35 p.m. Saturday. According to a sergeant with the Mesa Police Department at the scene, officers arrived and located a single victim who had been shot. Police are actively investigating what led up to the shooting. No additional information, including the victim's condition, was immediately available.
