US, Phoenix: Greater Metro Phoenix Overnight Dust Storm Blankets Valley.

Phoenix, United States - August 04, 2026 08/03/2026 09:45 pm GMT-0700 Greater Metro Phoenix – A large haboob (dust storm) blanketed much of the Phoenix metropolitan area on Monday evening. The National Weather Service reported that an outflow boundary out of Pinal County moved into the metro area shortly before 10 p.m., traveling northwest across the valley. As a result, a dust advisory was issued for Maricopa County due to 40 mph wind gusts and low visibility. Footage was gathered in North Glendale and North Phoenix near the I-17 and Loop 101 north stack.
