US, Los Angeles: Valley Village Welfare Check Leads to Man Found Unresponsive In The Ashton Apartments.

Los Angeles, United States - August 02, 2026 08/02/2026 12:30 am GMT-0700 VALLEY VILLAGE, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Los Angeles police conducted a welfare check at the Ashton Apartments in the 12600 block of Riverside Drive. Upon arrival, officers requested breaching tools to access one of the units. According to initial unconfirmed information gathered at the scene, a man was found inside an apartment with lacerations to his neck. He was unresponsive and not breathing. No other information is known at this time.
