US, Los Angeles: Palmdale Pedestrian Struck and Killed by Metrolink Train.

Los Angeles, United States - September 11, 2026 09/10/2026 10:56 pm GMT-0700 Palmdale – A person was struck and killed by a Metrolink train in Palmdale this evening, shortly before 11 p.m. The incident occurred near the 38700 block of 5th Street East. Los Angeles County Sheriff's Deputies and the Los Angeles County Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene after receiving a report of a collision between a train and a pedestrian. Upon arrival, paramedics discovered the pedestrian pinned beneath the train and initiated life-saving efforts. The Metrolink line was shut down during the investigation, causing delays for riders.
