Johannesburg, South Africa - September 27, 2026 A minibus taxi and a truck sit wrecked on the N2 highway in the Inkosi Mtubatuba Municipality, KwaZulu-Natal Province, South Africa, after a deadly head-on collision, September 27, 2026. Eleven people were killed and eight others critically injured when the northbound minibus taxi struck a southbound truck and caught fire at around 4 a.m. local time. The Road Traffic Management Corporation said it would work with police to determine the cause of the crash.
